Natalie Taylor

Natalie Taylor

Instructor

Natalie’s experience in the health and fitness world stems from her participation in athletics, as both an athlete and coach. Having participated in every level between recreational, club, to varsity in various activities including dance, soccer, swimming, triathlons, and water polo, her competitive drive and curiosity in human performance lead her to receive a Nutrition Education Certificate from CCSF (where she also competed on the intercollegiate swim and water polo teams, and was awarded to the All-Conference First Team), a B.A in Spanish from SFSU, as well as a Master’s in Kinesiology from Saint Mary’s College of CA. While attending grad school, she coached water polo at the high school and university club level, was certified as an ACE group fitness instructor, as well as an ASCA certified swim coach. When she is not working at move, Natalie can be found swimming from Alcatraz, working with her athletes both in and out of the pool, or enjoying some coffee in her backyard. Check her out @natalieataylor on all social media.

Natalie teaches the dawn patrol classes; Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 6am- come start your day with her!

Heidi

Heidi

Instructor

After being a long time member at move-sf, Heidi has officially joined the team as a hip hop dance instructor. Heidi’s passion for dance started at a young age. She started taking dance classes at 18 months old and has even competed in dancing. In high school, Heidi was on the varsity dance team and was also elected as the dance team captain. In college, dancing remained her hobby while she focused on her studies. She participated in student run dance shows, which is how she discovered her true love for hip hop dancing.

After finishing college and law school, Heidi moved to San Francisco to begin her career as an attorney. However, practicing law didn’t give her the same fulfillment dancing did. After taking cardio hip hop dance classes in the City, she began training to become an instructor. Heidi believes hip hop dancing is good for the soul. Her classes do not require any experience and is a fun, different way to get a good sweat in after a long day of work. She will teach you how to pop, lock, and drop it, with some occasional krumping and twerking.
